Default Someone please help!

Hey everyone! Just bought my first ford! However, I have a problem with the headlights, cluster, and tail lights not working when i hit the switch. My headlights come on, but are very dim, so i'll assume they're my running lights. the cluster doesn't light up. and the tail lights don't run when the switch is on. The cluster light works because when I hit my keyless entry it blinks. I had replaced the left plate light, and right reverse light for my safety. when i replaced the plate light, it wasn't just the bulb. I spliced a new fixture in there because the bulb receptacle was messed up. I checked the fuses on the panel and under the hood. Everything ok. What could it be? Maybe my light switch? PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP! I don't want to get pulled over for not having my lights working! Thanks!

If things were working before you messed with it I would guess you crossed a wire? Did you swap the groung and hot wire on the plate light? First rule of troubleshooting is: Did you mess with it? Check your work! Try taking off what you did and see if the other lights come back.
