Default time for a new motor!!!

Okay, my truck is a 99 4x4 5 speed with a completly custom suspension built for running the truck in the des. the engine currently in it is the 4.6 L. I had a supercharger on it till it blew the head gasket by the number 8 cylinder. So no she has no power, but is still running for the most part. I want to keep the 4.6L block and bore it out as far as i can go without risking the integraty of the cylinder walls. I want to go as all out with it as i can getting as much horsepower and torque as possible keeping the EFI and stock block. If you wanted to rebuild mine or yours what all should i look to cram into it. like port and polished heads. what kind of heads? what percentage bore should i go with....

Forget the bore, stroke that puppy to a 5L... If you are running the SC, that should compensate a lot for the carppy heads, if you are running under around 10-12 psi i would just look into some cams and go from there...

I also found a complete 95 lighting motor for sale which is the 5.8L, i have been trying to figure out what kind of stuff comes stock on it. I think if i get it, i may swap the cams and port and polish it, then throw it in. That is if it will even work for me.

I honestly have no idea. I doubt they would be selling it as a crate motor this early because they want people to buy a new raptor instead of making their own. I would wait till someone totals the frame and buy it salvage or see if you can find one crated somewhere.
