So why did you choose an F150?

I needed a farm truck and found a guy that owned a repair shop that offered to sell his 2005 F150 XL extended bed with 190,000 miles on the odometer for $2800. Easy decision.

Loved my 2012 Tundra so I was convinced a 2018 would be my next Tundra.
1 could not even find one local
2 when I did look at the new Tundra I was not excited with options available
I looked at a lot of F150's online then in my area and when I saw the how nice the back floor was (flat) my labs would love this!
I educated my self on the proper options needed/wanted
My wife loved the lightning blue and mentioned she was going to Schultz Ford in wexford,PA. for a Pittsburgh Penguins signing with Kris Letang and they had one I wanted to look at so we went up early AM on Saturday. She got them to have Kris sit in my truck to close the deal!!!!!
Just got back from an OBX vac and this thing is comfy!!!!!!! * wish I had the adaptive cruise is my only complaint........

1. Aluminum for recent move to the Noertheast
2. Scab with regular bed fits in garage
3. 2.7 gets great mileage, and I'm not towing anything big anymore.
I had a 2001 F-150 SCAB with a V-6 and manual transmission (5 speed?). That truck was a slug. My '04 F-250 with the 6.0 Powerstroke (automatic) was great. Never had a problem with that engine and had the truck for 12 years.
