So much for that tow mirror
So last night on the way home from hunting some asshat crossed the centre line, pushing me out onto the shoulder of an ice covered road and clipped my mirror.
Worse yet he didnt stop. I saw his brake lights come on but by the time I got stopped all I could see was tail lights disappearing over the hill. I turned around and tried to catch him but he was long gone.
Pretty crappy that I will have to foot the bill to replace this unless the cops find him. Too bad I have very little info to go on as it was dark so I really didnt see much as I attempted to avoid a head o collision.

That sucks. Too bad you weren't able to catch him/her.

Thanks, me too. It could have been much worse if it had been a head on collision. It was a dark lonely country road. It could have been a while before someone came along had we both been injured and there is no cell service in that area.

This is why I always have a dash cam running. Too many jerks out there that will not do the right thing and own up to their mistakes.
Glad your reflexes kept this from being much worse.
