Definite lag on BT when viewing a Youtube video - like several seconds kind of lag.

Two grayed out options are for seat heat and what looks like parking sensors

I don't use the carplay, I just plug my phone into the USB. I'm actually a huge fan of sync 3, I think it's pretty awesome.

Just bought a '19 F-150 and I realized if you connect your phone through Bluetooth, there is a 1-2 second lag between your phone and what is projected from the speakers.
The audio between the devices are not synced (funny it's called Ford Sync).
If you disable Bluetooth and connect through the USB cable, same thing.

It does work if you use CarPlay but CarPlay is absolutely horrible. There are basically no settings and you have to deal with the the text/phone situation and the maps when using an app.
I originally wanted to disabled CarPlay completely and just wanted to use the Bluetooth or USB but the lag is horrible.
You can try it by watching a YouTube video. The video will be able 1-2 seconds faster than the audio coming out of the speakers.

I tested this with my wife's '17 Explorer with a different phone, same thing.
Is everyone just dealing with this?
I came from a '14 Mustang which had an older Ford Sync I believe but never had this problem. Using the same phone.
My 2015 would sync fine. Our other cars have no audio delay. My new 2020 f150 is unbearable when watching videos. Two seconds of audio delay is insane. I can't believe they haven't recalled the stereo. No one should have to explain why or how they use the audio in their vehicle. The fact is, in 2021 there shouldn't be bluetooth audio delay. If i had known, i would have shipped for a different vehicle altogether

Can't say I've ever sat in my truck and watched a video while sync'd to BT, but I'll give it a shot and see if I have any lag.
funny got a dodge ram as a rental as my 2019 f250 was being repaired. Hate dodge, but their blue tooth system beats ford. Was nice watching movies that synced properly to sound for 2 weeks I had it. It is possible to do, ford just doesn't care.
