Default sensors

I have a 2000 f150 v8 4.6 while driving service engine soon light came on. Had it check and 7 codes came up. Should I just replace all 7 sensors. Or could one affect the rest.

The # of DTCs has little to no bearing on the # of "sensors" that could be affected or for that matter the actual issue(s)/problem(s).

What were the DTCs?

Yes - google the codes or post them here and perhaps some forum members can help. Or search the forum for the codes and get the history of what others have found were the cause and solutions to them.

Question

pitcherdad - p0453 / p0123 / p0340 / p1289 / p0118 / p0113 / p0708
Each of the codes indicates a different faulty sensor -OR- connection to it. I can't believe that all of the various, different sensors would fail at the same time and therefore would look for electrical connection issues either to the sensors or to the PCM.

*BTW ... You haven't recently done a MAJOR engine bay repair|change have you?
P0113 - faulty IAT (Input Air Temperature) or connection
P0118 - faulty ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) (or connection
P0123 - faulty TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) or connection
P0340 - faulty CPS (Camshaft Position Sensor) or connection
P0453 - faulty EVAP pressure sensor or connection
P0708 - faulty TRS (Transmission Range Sensor) or connection
P1289 - fault CHT (Cylinder Head Temperature) or connection

No the last thing I've done was clean the throttle body out. And regular maintenance oil change etc. I'm just lost that all of those codes popped up. I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy and change all of those.

I'm thinking a bad connection or connections. I agree completely with Joe - you're not going to have all those sensors go bad at the same time.
