The best was when I had Sync Services on my 2011 3.5 Eco - I could go to Google maps from home or work, and use the option "Send to Car".
Later, when I asked the truck for directions - it would pop up saying directions were received for xyz destination, and if I wanted directions to go there - it was so cool.
But yeah, Sync Services have been chloroformed by Ford now, and there doesn't appear to be an option available in Sync 3 to upload maps from your Phone (sent by google or other service) to your built-in Nav system. And let's not talk about Sync 3 map updates (...there's another thread for that).

It is a feature that is coming to the Ford Pass app, just not there yet.

I upgraded FordPass to version 1.16 (iOS) today. The release notes say capability to send POIs to nav is now available for “certain Sync 3 equipped vehicles”. I found usage instructions on the FordPass support site. I don’t find any new link in the app to send destinations. Does anyone else?
