Default Sell It Or Keep It

Sell it? Or keep it? What truck? That truck

https://www.f150forum.com/f10/true-value-classic-ford-pickup-536308/

It is a 1994 Ford F-150 XL 2dr Regular Cab Short Bed Truck with a 4.9L 6cyl engine and manual transmission. The truck has around 100k miles. It is for sale. But considering the outrageous prices of used cars, is it better to keep that truck? The mpg in those old Fords probably ain't that great but it's been said that the engine for that year is as reliable as can be. So what are your thoughts? If it sells, what price should it sell for? Looking forward to your answers.

All depends on what you need a truck for and what your budget is. Prices are coming down.

If you only occasionally use it for a trip to Lowe’s and back, keep it. If it’s your daily, and you want to upgrade, get something newer.

The 4.9 is very reliable. Definitely not good on MPG’s and it doesn’t have a whole lot of power, but it’ll get the job done.

A Toyota Tacoma is what gets used a lot. That Ford F-150 is mostly just parked there not getting used much at all. Seems best to sell the Ford F-150 but at what price? The reason for asking the forum community was to get a ballpark figure to sell. And now to inquire about online sales auctions. Are auctions reliable at selling vehicles for proper financial value?

Also, to make things clesr, the posts on the forum are not sales pitches. Forum members advice on selling F-150 trucks is what is sought. A proper valuation in today's market is what is sought. More information can be found at:

Thanks for any advice. Have a great day people. Looking forward to your responses.

"I" would keep it. It looks like a cool truck.

Well if you're a Toyota guy, I think you should sell that old Ford ASAP.

I've found Kelly Blue Book to be a great tool for finding the appropriate price for buying or selling used vehicles.
