Is anyone aware of successful hacks of the engine immobilization system resulting in successful operation of the vehicle without the correct coded key?

If someone manages to get your coded keys, can the engine be disabled via FordPass, does anyone know? I guess that might open the door more security issues.

I would imagine if a bypass existed, it would be public knowledge and there would be several news articles about it. Someone with physical access to the vehicle and enough know-how could probably just code a new key to the vehicle.

FordPass does not offer that as an option.

 

The simplest "hack" is to attach a correctly coded key close to the transceiver by the ignition cylinder.

You're in General so your truck could be anything from 1975 to 2023.
