That’s less rust than I ever seen on a truck that old. Closer to ‘rust free’.

Opinions are gonna vary, mine is that for an 11 model year old vehicle, appears to be mostly surface rust, wouldn't be a deal-killer or even a significant concern in my book.

That rust wouldn't worry me. I'd check the cab corners. That is where my 11 rusted out first.

Looks like a 1996 Cherokee after 2 weeks! I wouldn't worry about that at all. My '13 Lariat looks worse here in Northern, IL, but the cab corners are what ticks me off.

Wire brush and Rustoleum Rust Converter in a rattle can and that will last a long time. What you have shown wouldn't bother me at all.

Looks normal for a truck that age, especially if not in the south. Check the bed support rails, they seem to rust out first.....

What rust? In NY, the last year leftover trucks on the lot have this much before they get sold.

Rust on the outside is mostly cosmetic. Rust on the inside is the killer and where holes come from. I'd crawl under it and poke around with a screwdriver. I'd also stick my fingers in any frame holes and check for scaling.
