replacing rear calipers
Went to change out pad all around. Noticed right rear dust boot was cracked but not leaking fluid. Driver side was stuck not breaking when pedal was pushed. Tapped on it bit and applyed the the brake. Piston moved out but the rubber boot did not. 187,000+ miles figured time to replace. All four need it, but when it rains it poor's and barley am able to buy the rear two. So I need to take them off and bring with me for the core charge can't afford. I know nothing about going about it. I could some advice on how to go about this. Like when I take the calipers should I try to rig a way to clog the hose an if so how to go about doing so? After a reapply the calipers I know I need to bleed them but do I need to bleed the front as well? Was thinking I might as well flush out the front ones and hope thatay help them hold out just a little longer. Would it be best to just go ahead and drain it all while the rear Cali's are off or keep the MC full at all times. Any insight any of you out there can pass my way I would really appreciate it. It pisses me off a little that the auto stores put a core charge on crap. I would of like to have held on to the calipers for when I am able to get kits I could try to rebuild them.
