Anybody know if you can swap out the 2010 oem headlights for the darker/blacked out headlights of the latter years such as 12' 13' or 14'?

 

direct swap, halogen of course. HID will need wiring harness

 

Yep...it is a direct plug and play swap, the upgrade made a huge difference in the appearance of my STX truck that has no chrome.

 

Yup, I am trying to do the same thing right now to my STX. I just need a set of the headlights. Keep an eye on the For Sale section and usually can find a set once in a while for around $200. I've seen various similar aftermarket styles on eBay for $110-$125.

 

For the ones you swapped did you swap and then also install HID extra, or were the HID already installed, or were they halogen?

 

I upgraded to halogen Harley Davidson headlights.
