Default Removing plasti-dip/clear coat

Before everyone chuckles/rants
I have experience with this product, but I have a new situation...
I have done large flat objects such as bumpers, panels, etc. But I tried a new object this weekend, my AC vents.
I did my AC vents as I've seen others do to just get a feel as to the color scheme I wanted to do for my interior, and I like it!
But the problem is, while plastidipping and clear coating the vents it is in the moving parts of the vent, I want to remove the plasti dip and clear coat to move on to the real deal - paint.
My problem is, how do I remove the dip from the small parts that I can't simply start at a corner and start peeling...is there ANYTHING I can't soak these parts in to remove the dip from the parts my large fingers can't reach??

Any help would be outstanding...thanks in advance, bigburns

Brake fluid will work too, as long as you don't get it on anything else. Yes on your paint choice. The Fusion Plastic paints are garbage. Rustoleum products take a little more time to dry but it's way better paint. Only thing better is Vinyl & Plastic colors from Dupli-Color. $9 bucks a can in limited colors

You can paint over the plastidip.

I'm scared to paint over the plastidip, it's too thick! And I'm not sure of the texture
Thanks for the feedback,
Bigburns

Why would you clear coat over it if you wanted to remove it? If you have "experience" with dip, you should know it doesnt remove easily when clear-coated. Bug and tar remover remove uncoated dip easily. Wish I had a easy solution for you. You may just have to sand it off (tedious, but it may be your only option). Most paint strippers will eat the plastic as well. Good-luck.

Agreed, Fusion paint is a joke. Stay with Rustoleum.

I've heard that using heat gun can help soften and remove clearcoated plastidip.
