Default Removing Front Side Windows..

Is there a writeup floating somewhere on how to remove the front side windows on our rigs? I have a 2004 (new body style) with tinted front windows. I am just waiting for the day a cop will pull me over for them. My plan is to purchase another set of windows that don't have any tint on them, and when I get a "fix it" I'll just swap the windows, have my ticket signed off and swap em' back. I did this when I owned my Jeep. Sucks living in California, all these darn laws....

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.....

Around here the cops don't say get it fixed. They hand you a scraper and say fix it! Some are even nice enough to fix it for you themselves.

I have some pics of when I changed my window motor out I can send them to you just shoot me an email. They should give you a pretty good idea of what to do.

It's not just Cali, Maryland has laws against too dark of a tint on the windows. It goes to Police Officer safety. When they stop a car/truck/van for a traffic violation they need to see what you are doing inside your vehicle. If you are reaching for a gun, they want to know about it before they get shot to death, not after!

Welp, I know that the first thing to do when I see a cop behind me is to roll down my front windows.... Wait, I do that anyway to avoid seeing the lights and sirens come on...
