so i was going to scrap yards around fort worth this week and i came across a reason that i hate obama

i found a 1995 Ford F-150 XLT
-Green
-extended can
-absolutely beautiful interior (100% spotless)
-completely perfect exterior (not a single scratch)
-HAD a 5.0 in it

i went to the guy and asked him if he would sell me the body and he said the only way he could sell it is by cutting it in half and that it wasn't worth it. i just wanted to cry since i couldn't save it and give it a home

i'm going back tomorrow after school so i'll try and remember to get pics, it was somebody's baby until CARS happened

 

Ya, people were posting videos of perfectly good trucks being ruined..

 

For some reason I doubt it was anyone's "baby" or else she wouldn't have been traded in on CARS.

Poor truck, may she rest in pieces.

 

alot of great cars n trucks got scrapped because of that dumb bill

 

its a shame but just think of it... now we can take parts off of them and use them for our trucks, which we obviously care about more because we still have them lol

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure we can not use it for parts. They arn't for sale.. Not sure, but arn't they suppose to get scraped?

 

i thought all they had to do was destroy the engine. the purpose of the bill was to get the ineficient engines off the road. but the body parts should be available. dont quote me though because im 100% on it. im sure someone here will set us straight

 

I wonder if it would be possible to buy the actual body of the truck and transplant it onto another truck?

 

i thought i got told nothing could be used off of one that was traded in on cars maybe wrong im not postive

 

i have to honestly say that obama is doing nothing but ruining this country and what it DID stand for. i work at a pretty big franchise dealership and during cash for clunkers we saw plenty of f150s... from 1993 to 2006! and all they did was run this stuff called liquid steel through the gas and it seizes the motor... on top of that i need some interior panels for my truck... i couldnt take anything out of these trucks.
