Default Question regarding stance

Pretty new here. Had mustangs my whole life and now I have a truck. Not very knowledgeable when it come to lift and wheel and tire figments but I see a lot of trucks with 1-2” poke. I saw one on Instagram which was running a 20x10 -12 offset with 35” nitto grapplers and 4” lift. The tires poked out about 2” and was done for a dealership. The shop does quite a bit for them too I might add. My question is people that run this set up do not have fender flares. Won’t they have rocks skipping off the sides? I like the look but I do not want to encounter rock chips. It would be a pavement truck only. I’m not a fender flare type person unless it’s OEM type. Do people not worry about chips? By input would be great. Thanks in advance!

I don't worry about rock chips, they come with the territory unfortunately.
Mud flaps would minimize rock chips to some extent.
