Default Question About installing a Sub and Amp?

Well finally got my sub and amp and probley going to install it myself on thursday. I have never installed them before, so do any of you guys have any prior experiance doing it, Do i have to be extremely careful with some things? What tools do i need? and any tips for me?

Don't stab the subs with the screwdriver/drill.

its pretty easy. if you bought a hook up kit. run the aux wire from cd player to amp. run remote wire ( blue on the cd player) back to the amp. run the power wire from amp to positive battery terminal. ground the amp. run wire from amp to sub.. and shes done

first thing, you need an aftermarket HU with subwoofer pre-outs....you didnt mention anything about that...

You dont have to have a aftermarket head unit... I have the Factory head unit. But if you go that way you need a amp with high level inputs.... You should find a friend who has done this stuff before... Ive done this stuff for ever.
