Hi everyone, my name is Jereme. I recently, about 8 months ago, purchased a brand-spanking-new 2011 Pale Adobe Metallic XLT Supercrew 4x4. I'm not exactly thrilled with the color choice, but that's a whole other topic in itself lol. This is my 4th F-150 in some variant of this color and I think I have just grown tired of it.

Anyhow, I just contacted my local Line-X'ers today to inquire about possibly doing my bumpers in a PTM Extra. I was quoted $500, does this seem high to anyone else? This was also with me taking off the bumpers and all the plastics myself, if that makes a difference. I have also considered going with some Ranchhand replacements. This was also a $500 quote, but only for the front.

Not to sound cheap, but this just seems a lot higher than I was expecting. I have no other dealers to compare to as the same guy owns 2 of the 3 in my area and the 3rd has yet to return my call with a quote. Also, FWIW, I was also quoted $750 for a 5.5ft bed PTM Extra bed liner. For these prices I guess I'll just have to deal with the bumpers as-is or the Ranchhand Summit in just the standard black diamond-plate...rock ships and all lol.

So to anyone that has read this far, sorry for the long post. I'm just looking for other members opinions on these prices...idk is this pretty standard or am I correct on it being too high? BTW, I'm very happy to be a member of such an informative site with so many helpful members.

LineX is expensive, I was told $550 for my short bed, black Xtra. If that price was you doing the labor, just do the bedliner look yourself.
