Proposal with dealer, signing papers tomorrow?!?
2013 F150 XLT, 5.0, 4x4, 302A package
+ 3.55 e-lock
+ tailgate step
$44,655 MSRP
-$12,289 rebates
=$32,366
They only wanted to give me $2800 for my trade in. I asked if they could bring that up to $3500, throw in a tonneau cover and remote starter...then I would make a deal. Left salesman with that and will go in tomorrow morning to see where he stands. He said he could get me 1 of those add-ins for sure and would try for both.
How does that sound?

Sounds good Steve. You can get ford OEM remote start for $325 installed at Stivers. I'm scheduled for Tuesday. Access tonneau cover is $449 installed at total truck. Hope that helps.

Hold your guns on the 2 add ons...or take your business to the next dealer. They have extra money to give but try hard not to give it out. I can't tell you how many times they told me that they had no more money to give...and behold, they came back with more off. What was your trade? How come so low on the trade?

2002 Toyota Highlander, 4cyl, FWD, 127k miles. Has hood damage and damage on the bumpers. They initially said $2800. But I said another dealer offered $3500 and they said they should be able to meet that. I think $1000 would fix up all the damage. I really wanted $4000 for it.
NPC, I went to Dewey tonight. So far only one with exact truck in stock. And my guy was pretty easy to talk to...and was more than happy to appraise unlike Gabus. Stivers only has my truck in Ecoboost.
The way I see it, if I am not going to get them to come up anymore on my vehicle...or come down anymore on the price...than I need to get some toys thrown in there.

I just wanted to give you some prices so you had an idea on value of toys you were looking at adding. I think the deal seems good on the buy, but don't know how to value toyota. Good luck.

That's a good deal. Recently got my 302 XLT for $15500 off and no messy trade thingy. Special order.. arrives from Kansas in ten days.
As September winds down they are very hungry to dump the '13's. Press them hard!

Got the truck. They gave me the cover and a bed mat. Paid for the remote starter. Which is fine. I would have done so anyway. Cover and bed mat I did not want to pay for at all. I drove away happy in the end.
For refinancing, they told me to wait friggin 4 months and then come back! Screw that noise!
