Default Projector headlight bulbs

I went to upgrade my low beam bulbs and after purchasing the H11 bulbs (according to owners manual) and taking apart the inner wheel lining (pia) I found out that they are not anywhere close to being H11 bulbs.
I have googled replacement bulbs but all of the sites I went to say H11 ??
Who on here can point me in the right direction.
Thanks

What year/make/model vehicle. I assume an F150 and based on your "H11" a 2015+ truck?

Are you trying to replace the low and high or JUST the low.

Also if you are relacing just the low you realize your low beams on a 2015+ are actually the TOP 2 lighs, NOT the bottom (it's confusing since you'd assume LOW beams are the LOWER bulbs, not the case).

H11 are low beams, the top 2 lights
9005 are the high beams, bottom 2 lights

I want to replace the low beam bulbs. The manual has a pic with the low beam bulbs being the top lens. Also, the DRL are also the top along with normal night driving.
The H11 bulbs have a plastic 90 degree base. The current bulbs have a straight metal base....that's what's confusing.
I am assuming, because they are in a projector housing, that they require a different type bulb.

Here is a pic of a similar bulb.

Well looks like you have Anzo housings. Those are not the factory housings. Anzos take an H7 for lows and H7 for highs. So that's your issue. You have the wrong bulb size.

What??? I bought it with 2K miles on it. I know the previous owner did some upgrades, 20" wheels with the Dura Trac tires, tinting, tow mirrors, 55 gallon tank, GPS, Sirius, etc., but had no idea that the headlights were changed...It that is true, I am really confused.
I appreciate the answers and apologize for the misleading question...I had absolutely no idea.

Yup... headlights are aftermarket. It's actually a nice upgrade for you but anytmie you buy bulbs just remember the bulb size is NOT the same as the factory size. H7 for lows, H7 for highs is what you need to look out for.
