Default 2018 wheel and tire question

So my 2018 stock wheel and tire combo is 275/55/20.
My question is do you guys think a 295/70/17 toyo MT or nitto trail grappler MTs would fit with no trimming or rubbing? I'm looking at some 17x8.5 wheels 0/4.75" back space.
Thanks in advance guys!

Stock Michelin LTX MS? Great stock tires!!

Yes, they should. Knowing the offset rather than backspacing would be of greater help though.

That's gets a little bit trickier. They should still fit but will be very close, possibly rubbing at full lock in reverse. Hopefully someone running that set up will chime in.

I would be more concerned about them not rubbing on the calipers. Your looking at using a rim that is 3 inches smaller in diameter than what is on there already. Based on the only info I could find, the 2018's have 13.75" rotors, and the calipers usually stand out 2-3 inches more. On a 17 inch rim, you looking at around a 15.5" inside diameter. Measure very carefully before buying smaller wheels.

Also keep in mind that your speedometer will be off as well.

IF your spare is a regular steel wheel, you can't go by that as steel rims are a lot thinner material than aluminum or magnesium rims. Just saying so you don't pay for something that you can not use.
