I am a huge fan of the Open Country A/T. Much better wet and dry traction than the tread suggests for the street, they seem to do as well in mud and snow, and they're soooo quiet.

It depends on what you're trying to do with it. ProComp has made a dynasty out of offroad tires, and some of their MT and AT tires reveal ProComp's inexperience on the street. Toyo is the opposite. They make killer street tires, but they won't perform off road quite like a ProComp.

The Toyo AT's are a great tire, just lack's the aggressive look's of the Pro Comp.

I have to disagree. The Toyo Open Country All terrains are some of the best off road tires you can buy. I would much rather have the toyo all terrains than the pro comp all terrains

You might want to also look into the Mickey Thompson BAJA AT's or MT's, they are very aggressive and cool looking sidewalls. The AT's are very quiet on the road and i'm told are actually better in the snow. They also wear excellent with guys telling me they get well over 50,000 miles and still have good thread left yet. My new truck i pick up in a few days have these AT's on them and they really impressed me vs. the procomps on a chevy i test drove that were really loud and shook the whole truck and steering wheel.

What size Toyo AT's were you looking at? I have a spare set of Toyo AT's 285x70x17 I bought about 3 yrs ago for $800 out the door. I'd also check out the Nitto terra grapplers which are made by Toyo, a good tire at a reasonable price.
