Default Prius Fire

Fiance just called and said she came up on a car fire, turns out it was a prius that had its battery packs short out and catch fire. occupants died on scene. Another reason NOT TO BUY A HYBRID.. so sad. i forsee a toyota lawsuit in the future by the family....

You know i bet burning the lithium like that is not ecofriendly. unfortunate the people died but this has not been the first time Toyota had problems Examples poor quality iron for frames of cars and that big one Toyotas moving forward even when you don’t want to thing I think Toyota has shot themselves in the foot and are on their way out.

How did she know the batteries shorted out and caused the fire??

Shes a first responder EMT and that was the investigators conclusion and statement

Yeaaa but I still can't forget the time my friends and I took a Prius on a roadtrip from San Diego to the Bay Area and paid $8 each (3 of us) in gas which normally takes my F-150 around $140ish for the same trip. Sure they're lame but I hate the pump.

gasoline powered cars catch on fire way more often.. should we boycott them too?

Regular cars catch on fire, too. Yet another good reason to try to park away from others if possible
