Default pricing question...

Hey all, ive been looking to buy an 03 or an 04 f150 supercab for a few weeks now. I've been looking on autotrader, and other sites, and they run around 15 or 16k. Some people have told me that used ones at a dealership usually run around 18 to 20k. What is the average price for this vehicle, and when are they expected to drop?

I just seen a 2005 Lariat 4x4 crew cab near me on a dealer's lot priced at 21K it had 65,000 miles on it. It was pretty loaded. Just as an example here. I not shopping but I did notice it.

I bought my 03 scab about 3 weeks ago. I paid $11,750 for it. It has high miles at 75,000 but has a new ford tranny with a warranty. The dealer messed up on the price and some how forgot to add the work they had done. They were going to ask $15,900. But as they had already given me the price the honored it. NADA and Kelly blue book are both in the 16K to 17K range.

Here it is
03 XLT sport flareside
4.6 auto 2wd
Manual seats but power everything else
Power moon roof
Tow package with 10,000lb hitch
It is in perfect condition inside and out.
