Thers a lot of people that buy diesels just to have diesels, which there is nothing wrong with. Its probaby 70/30 of people that actually use the diesel to tow the amount of weight it can handle.

GM developed a 4.5l duramax a few years back, that was built for the 1500, but it was cancelled when the economy went bad. So it's a possibilty.

Right! There is. I was one of them many times but it wouldn't kill the sales.

The g in cummings is a joke buddy.

Cummins had a 4.2 (based off the Essex engine) and a 5.3 (based off the GM Vortec) for Dodge but it was chosen not to launch due to the economy. Now it just seems like everyone is afraid to be the first company out with a half ton diesel.

Yeah it's a joke with the powerstroke guys. But a lot of people do. The funniest is when Cummins owners do it.

A guy was talkin to my buddy and said Cummings. My buddy said na man its Cummins. The guy said No, its Cummings, people that own them just say Cummins for short. My buddy said go to the website, look at the badge. It says Cummins
