I think you'd find it wouldn't kill it at all. People who tow a lot want the bigger trucks as they handle the load much better. They are rated for more and are a whole different animal. It's not just the motor in them. Yeah they may lose a few sales but I think those type of people are already buying ecoboosts now.
And its Cummins. Saying it with a g makes you sound like an idiot

Cummins had a 4.2 (based off the Essex engine) and a 5.3 (based off the GM Vortec) for Dodge but it was chosen not to launch due to the economy. Now it just seems like everyone is afraid to be the first company out with a half ton diesel.

A guy was talkin to my buddy and said Cummings. My buddy said na man its Cummins. The guy said No, its Cummings, people that own them just say Cummins for short. My buddy said go to the website, look at the badge. It says Cummins
