I was hoping someone here could tell me why everyone is under estimating the capabillities of the 4.6 V8. I have a 2000 added a cold air intake and dual 3" exshaust right from the engine. 315 50 16 on the rear 265 50 16 up front. Next job this summer is posi but for now im happy playing with the chevy guys. not many can take me off the street here. and yes she lights them up.

 

Nobody is underestimating it, but as a basic platform it doesn't provide as much gusto stock vs. stock to the 5.4.
