Although the engine is only a 4.6 it has plenty of power and than some if it is built properly. The reason I chose my set up rather than the Roush offered by the dealer is that they only go 0-60 mph in 6.8 seconds. I wanted more. Our next few mods and tune will place us hovering in the high 5 second range. Mind you this does come at a price, approximately $6,000-$8,000 on engine and rear modifications alone, including a NOS system. But knowing that only Lightnings and SRT-10 can smoke me is satisfaction enough because I have a back seat and can still tow my boat.
Im glad u have had good results, but your own information proves one already very well known fact....ANYTHING CAN BE FAST IF YOU PUT ENOUGH MONEY INTO IT!
now think about this....with the money u have put into your truck to make it that fast + what you bought the truck for, u could have bought a lightning and been faster....
Now what would be the results if u put that much money into a 5.4? My bet would be even better results. They are both good motors but you act like the 4.6 is some sort of good kept secret that blows the 5.4 out of the water....not the case
