Platinum or upgraded Lariat?

I'll add my 0.02 here because the more the merrier. I was in your position exactly and from a financial perspective, a loaded Lariat is so close to a Platinum, you might as well get the platinum. A few things I noticed that swayed me, no offense to anyone:
Pros for Platinum
1. The trim is actually metal instead of plastic
2. The leather is without a doubt softer and better quality
3. The tech package and tailgate step come on platinum (options I added to my Lariat config already)
4. Thicker, better feeling steering wheel
Cons for Platinum
1. Loved that you could get the color matched bumpers, but still have to see the chrome door handles and mirrors
2. Hideous tailgate badge (I'm getting painted to match)
I'm about to go Platinum after giving it a lot of thought. My most difficult decision was the color!

Now you got me thinking I have to go back and sit in both. What do you weigh if you don't mind me asking.

I only use mine on highway trips, feels great after sitting for an hour or more. It's not meant to replace a rub &tug... Just loosen sore muscles while driving

Good Choice.
