Passenger Door Handle Will Not Unlock / Lock With Touch.

It is surprising that nobody at these dealerships knows anything about it. There is much more activity on the issue in forums that include the Ford Escape. That is where I did most of my research. Not much here.
And Ford is not the only one struggling with these systems. Let us know if you conquer it.

Thanks BT. Sorry your going through this. With such an awesome truck. So far the passenger door sensor not working periodically is my only issue (probably just jinxed myself).
I am getting the same message about the electronics being shut down to save the battery. I'll look into the battery issue. I'll let you know if I resolve my issue.

Thanks for bringing attention to the issue. I wish you the best in fixing it. I will post when I have an answer.
Ford should have a person monitoring these forms who posts Tech Service Bulletins when something comes up.
As AI takes of over tech support, this would be so easy for companies like Ford.

While it sounds counter-intuitive, EV's are a lot less electrically complicated Vs ICE's. EV's move a lot more current, but they do it rather simply, and without requiring double-digit quantities of sensors to ensure we don't kill the planet. Except for two vehicles, they are also single gear direct drive, so no need for all the kerfuffle to manage shifts.

Mine just started about a month ago, It's a 2018 F-150 Lariat 5.0 Magma Red 502A, Super crew, 6.5 Bed. Love the truck, hate all the Issues I've had with it! ticking, Knocking, pinging, uses a Qt of oil every 1K miles! Ford won't do a Friken thing around here! I happen to be on the passenger side of the truck so I grabbed the handle and silence. I'm like WT(), so driver side works fine ! battery was replaced 3 years ago, but after reading this discussion I'm going to try it right after use! I'll respond after I try it! Motorcraft batteries used to last 10 years or better! nothing seems to last long anymore!

Same Issue
I have been experiencing the problem for a while. Intermittent at first. I did see a low battery message at one point but assume it charged back on a long trip,
The dealer was clueless. Made to wait a couple of weeks to get in (which meant after two weeks I could park it on their lot for several days without looking at it.) Called 4 times over 4 months about the problem with no returned call so I drove there to make my appointment. Finally just had to go and pick it up with a request to get another call back...crickets, (I am living the Seinfeld "rental care reservation" episode) Looks like I will get this and one other issue resolved on this forum.
Also found a tech service bulletin for the pressure sensor switch. Might even be under warranty.
COVID and supply chain is seriously stressing dealership repair. They are short-handed and can't even get time to return calls.

Would love to hear if you ever figure this out. We are having the same issue with a 2021 F150 Sport. Thought we fixed it, (not sure how) but we didn't as it started doing it again. Very similar to your situation.

Ford,
VIN 1FTEW1CPXMFC39979 2021 F150
I am having a very similar issue. The doors will not unlock when we grab the handle after the truck sits for an undetermined amount of time. It doesn't seem to happen when You turn off the engine and get out of the truck and try it right then. It doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen quite a bit. The lights also don't light up as you approach the vehicle, as well as the inside lights don't come on either after the door is open. Please advise on what to do to correct this.

Yes, but due to the extremely poor service and lack of staffing at our local dealership, I would be better off trying to figure it out myself. Time to even take it there is also an issue.
