Default Optima battery

So went out today to start my truck in the lovly 20 degree weather and click click all i got!
So new battery time, i was looking at the Optima battery line and im wondering is the extra $100 worth it? I do run alot of extra electric ****(underglow, led accents, fuzz buster, sirius, running lights, and soon to be subs).

Just looking to see if anyone has used them or knows a lil more about them.

hands down toughest battery ive ever seen.... i run a yellow top optima on my race truck..and it gets beat around..layed over on its side liek 2 times...i dont run an altenator..and i run start the truck and run it about 10 times for ateleast 5 mins each time before i even charge the battery again(and then it dont need it ..i just do it ).and i run elec fans..elec fuel pump..head lights(some races)... if you got the extra cash... you wont be upset with the battery.. i dont think i have ever heard a bad story about them..

I have the redtops in all vehicles except those with the original batteries, and when they die, those vehicles will get redtops. That makes a total of 8 redtops, and two are over 12 years old. Best battery that I have ever had, and there is no corrosion on the terminals.

if your concerned on the price try getting sponsored by them. Had one on my mustang and got it at wholesale by getting sponsored and putting a sticker on the car

I wont purchase another optima. Im gonna get a interstate big *** battery. The older optimas where amazing batteries. The new ones are not all they are cracked up to be. I have had my yellow top for a year and a half and at first it was amazing. Now, not so much. Its reserve has gone to ****. I used to be able to watch an entire movie in my truck without having to worry about it going dead. Now im lucky if it starts after sitting for a day. It is ridiculous.

I forgot what the beasty battery was im gonna get. But it is gigantic. Has good CCA (950ish), and has a great reserve.
