I use Mobil 1 Synthetic, and Mobil 1 oil filter! Both worth their weight in gold, and I purchase it a O' Reilys or Advanced Auto Parts! I don't & wont buy Anything from walmart!

Changed to Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic 2 oil changes ago and this time I'll run the oil to 10k miles before I change it. I had an oil analysis and they said I can go to 10k w/o any problems.
I do use the top of the line Fram filter. Never had a Fram go bad so I'll continue to use them.

+1. Plus the smell of the soap out the exhaust gets the ladies attention. Bubbles a little down the highway.

EB uses 5W30 in summer and can use a 0W30 winter.
But you are only to use oils with Ford API spec WSS-M2C929-A.
I doubt Walmart oil has this.

5W20 is NOT for the EcoBoost!

Huh? Walmart carries motorcraft, mobil, shell, valvoline, pennzoil, and practically every other major brand.

I meant like a Walmart brand. Brand does not matter.
The API spec does. I dont shop at Walmart so I assumed
Walmart had their own "Walmart Oil" now...

Just the spec and weight is what matters most.

I notice people saying they use a certain brand but they wouldn't get it at Wal-Mart. Unless its more expensive there, what would be the reasoning behind that?

An irrational fear of lower prices.

Lots of people dislike Walmart.
