Yeah, people who didnt have a car payment, had low insurance payments, and only had to put gas in it-now have a car payment, higher insurance, and a slightly lower monthly gas use. You're right, nobody benefits but the automakers because that $4500 comes from our tax dollars.

I am not interested in a new F150, I enjoy not having car payments. As nice as a new F150 would be I could do a frame up restoration of my 1995 F150 at least twice for what I would pay for a new one.
