And you know it took a great big old college edgeumacation to figure out how to stick that little plastic box under that thing, let alone how to put that damnable jack inside that box. Man, I wish I had that kinda learning......

Hey...I've learned the hard way too...carry a lightweight floor jack and my own tool's just in case. Changed a 35" BFG on my '04 at 5am going to work a few year's ago and learned the hard way.

OK, let me see if I've got this straight, you're in the middle of no-where, it's 87 degrees outside with humidity to match. Why would you need the excuse of a flat tire to need a beer? A cold 6-pack with the A/C running sounds more fun to me. And tell the tire tech to bring you out another since he's taking so long. Damn son.

Wow I didn't know there were so many women out there that don't know how to change a tire! No F'ing way I'm waiting 45 minutes for some jackass to show up, I'll have it changed and be on the road again in about 10, even with the crappy stock kit!

You wish. It takes 10 minutes to just crank up a crappy scissor jack!

That is why I keep my Hydraulic bottle jack.

Could probably do it in 7 with a bottle Jack.

You got one of the battery power impact wrenches? Those are sweet and make short work of tire changing.

I don't pull a trailer without one.

Yea, don't carry it with though. They are sweet. I've never actually timed it but it doesn't take long at all.

Changing the tires in our f150s aren't that bad. Try changing the rear tire on a crew cab long box 2500hd (crappy) Chevy truck. Which I work on the window industry so it has a widow rack(9' tall couple hundred pounds, plus tool boxes on the rack, plus hand tools etc that don't fit in the racks tool boxes) on the box if the truck... Which covers about half of the tire. Oh also managed to be pulling a 20' flat deck trailer when I got this flat.
