Default Oh Crap, a flat tire.

Yep, I hit a screw the size of a crossbeam rivet. What a pain to change with the kit supplied in the truck. Raise both rear seats, remove two wing nuts, pull the kit out. Open kit, scratch head, wish you had a beer, but there ain't one in the middle of nowhere. Try to answer all of the Wifey's questions without losing control of your faculties. After reading the manual, decide it's of little help. Then figure out the puzzle of putting the parts together so you can lower the tire. Lower tire that weighs what, a 1000 lbs, drag it from under the truck. Pray the lugs aren't as tight as your in-laws, and again wish you had a beer. After lugs are lose, now its time for that damnable scissor jack. Nowhere in the manual tells you the combination of the little rod you have to use to turn that friggin' jack. But, you figure it out. Now you gotta get the thing raised enough to slide it under the axel. You ask the Wifey to put her foot on top to hold it steady while you raise it just enough, but not to much. OK, I'll not go into that process, but I'm sure you can imagine. Jack her up, pull the flat off, and put the spare that now weighs 2000 lbs on the studs. Tighten the nuts, and then remember you didn't pay much attention to how all the jack crap came out of that little plastic box. Oh, yea wishing I had a beer now. Get it all back I the little plastic box, look around, and see that you forgot to raise that little thingy that holds the spare under the truck. At that point, the Wifey got back in the truck. What a trooper.

LOL So that's why that tire you just took off the axle weighs twice the amount it did when you JUST took it off!

Cell phone and AAA card are the best tools I have in the truck. And I worked as a mechanic in my younger years. No more though.
