I also have a 2014 supercrew 6.5' bed, and I generally back in unless there are like 1-2 spots open to the outside of my turn that I can use to get the truck swung in. If I'm trying to get into a spot with vehicles already parked on either side, i pretty much have to back in unless its just a really generous parking lot.

This is also why I tend to drive my Chevy bolt or Lexus GX if I am just running around town.

Almost always back in or pull through unless it's impossible or impractical. I'd say over 95% of the time, I back in!

If I'm not putting stuff in the bed, I generally will back into a parking stall. For me, it's not that it's easier, it's more a habit and I'm just as adept at parking nose-in as I am tail-in. All that being said, if I know that I'm going to be parking in a place that is going to be VERY narrow/difficult, I will take one of the other cars there instead. I haven't yet often been to a place where my pickup's size has been an actual significant problem aside from height. I think there's been one place where my pickup (stock height) was just too tall to fit and that was in Seattle and I don't live there. Everywhere else, no problem.

Back that thing up, it’s the only way.

Another vote for parking further out and pulling through. In fact I do this no matter what I am driving.

If I have to park in a full lot I try to back in, especially along the outer row where the tail can hang over the edge/curb.

That's interesting. Why? I'm not challenging your choice. I prefer back-in because it's easier and I can hang the rear over a grass median if there is one. I'm asking why your employers require it.

As others report, I also pull through if convenient.

It is a safety issue in the event a quick departure is needed. I don't work in plants, but I do work in the oil business. A lot of plants and oil companies started requiring years ago, and it is generally widely adopted in the industry, at least down this way.

Nose in only. Far easier. There's this thing called a steering wheel that allows you to do this pretty simply...
Also, for some reason many of the parking lots where I live have big signs saying it is illegal to back in. Maybe a Kansas state law? Who knows? More likely it is the po-po not liking it due to not being able to see the license plate.
