Does the amp have a high level input???

If so then the stock head unit will hook right up. If not you will need an adapter unit. Like this http://cgi.ebay.com/Speaker-4-RCA-Li...item4154b458a7

What Amp do you have???

Thats what I did... I have a Kenwood amp with the stock head unit.

Nobman is correct, as long as you have the proper converter/adapter, it will work. Although, with stereo prices getting cheaper everyday, you may want to consider upgrading your head-unit, preferably one with a front USB connection. This will provide you with full control of your iPod via the stereo along with charging capabilities; not too mention sound quality will be top-notch.

Furthermore, you will have much more options when it comes to controlling both your sub and amp (Hi/Low pass filter, various in-depth equalizer modes, bass levels, etc.)

Here's a good option from Alpine <-- It's going to have all the aforementioned features you're looking for. If you've already spent money on a decent sub and amp, why not towards the foundation of all sound systems - the stereo.

Hope this helps!

I used this. Simple PNP install. No cutting or splicing.
