Hello all I'm new here and wanted to ask a question. I am looking for a f150 with a 6.2l engine but not a raptor. What sub models did they put them in and what is the possibility in finding one with it? Are they just too rare to be able to find them or is it possible? Thanks for any help

I think the 6.2L was available from 2011-2014, and in 2011-2012 it was only available in Lariat trim w/Max Tow package. 2013-2014 it became available on XLT, Lariat, FX4 & Plat. and did NOT require Max Tow.

Yes, AutoTrader is a very powerful tool. These trucks seem hard to find though.

That new Ford 7.3 L should be offered as an option in the F150.

I don't have any trouble finding one with a 6.2, it is right outside my door.
In 2013 it was not in anything below the FX2/4, it didn't make it into the XLT until 2014.
When you search look for a V8 that is not Flex Fuel, if they list it right it will come up in that search and kick the 5.0's out.

When I search on edmund,cars, cargurus ect. I hit v8 and get any truck listed as a V8. Anyway to search for one?

Under Fuel hit Gasoline, Car Gurus has 518 listed, some are misrepresentations (5.0's) and others are Raptors but there was a Harley and Lariat on the first page from my Zip Code.
