Alright I've been quoted 3500 for replacement cam Phasers I'm thinking of a new engine any suggestions to engine type or website anything will help

 

that is the cost for a new engine from a dealership almost. for that much there has got to be more than just the cam phasers. i saw in a previous post you said it was this much for the vct solenoid. so which is it? what did the dealership tell you they were gonna do to your truck for that much exactly?
