We always do cheesy names for our dogs, right now, i have a fullblood golden retriever that is about 10 years old, her name is Dacie (though we say it like daisy) and a mutt from the shelter (only place we buy animals now, the ones that really need help) who is a Lab mix, i think with either pit bull or boxer, she has a very muscley body and square shaped head, pit bull like eyes, boxer ears, and black fur...they know for sure she is half lab, just don't know the who the father was...anyways, her name is Lily...

I really like ballistics 'dagmar'...try to get something very unique, thats what i like..the family named the dogs, but i named our cat, her name is Birkita (beer-keeta), its celtic...dixie just sounds so cliche and there are tons of dogs out there named that, but its your choice, im sure she will have a wonderful life w/ you no matter her name.
