I had a female german short haired pointer when I was younger and we called her Maxie. I liked it it still has the more masculine sounding name but with the "ie" at the end its clearly a female.

i used to have a dog just like that, it was an AWESOME dog...it was a male, we named him Pete (sounds lame, but was perfect for this dog). He used to get logs, yes whole logs, off of the firewood pile, and run around with them in his mouth, his neck got huge...but alas, he got taken one day, as he always jumped our horse fence while everyone was gone, out in the country, he could jump crazy high...but he would always just be waiting at the front door when we got home, and one day, he wasn't...we looked everywhere for him. A bird hunter probably took him, as they are amazing bird dogs...he was only like 2.5 years old too...god i miss that dog so much
She will be beautiful, and a great member of the family...i say name her Jenara (pronounced henara), and call her Nara for short...thats my suggestion...

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful dog!
I've got 2 purebred dogs.
A 4 year old Male Chocolate Labrador Retriever named Ty.
&
A 1 year old European Brindle Boxer named Haylee.
To me she looks like Dakota would be a good name. ( da-koh-da)
