Thanks for the replies! Old Grey Mule you seem to really know your stuff. Those are exactly my concerns, wattage, db, sensitivity, etc. I know there are a million speaker options out there, but to just guess what the speakers are that match my system is risky IMO. There seems to be an "outboard amp" under my passenger rear seat but I am not 100% sure what that big plastic box that says Sony on it is. LOL. That crutchfield link is awesome but it has so many options that "fit my door" 5-¼" Round to 6X8's. I think I am just going to have to take the panel off and pull the speaker that's in there. I am hoping there will be numbers on it to match something up.
Thanks again for all your help and comments. I'll keep you posted. (FWIW, I won't be doing this today LOL)

Take his advice and go to crutchfield.
Then just ask if they fit (depth) if you don’t know the depth.
Crutchfield said 2 5/16” fit

I'm not sure but doesn't the Sony Premium Sound use a separate amp to power the speakers? Thought the 2016 Edge Sport my wife has is rated at 500W (peak?).
Not implying the Sony is a good performer but I thought it put out more power than a plain head unit, and able to drive better speakers. KM

I am going to look into what that black box is under the back seat and the mountain of manuals that came with the truck. Sony, SYNC, Microsoft, etc. there are manuals for all of that stuff.

If it's anything like the system in my wife's Edge Sport the front door speakers are component woofers 6x9 with separate tweeters. It's a 12 speaker 500w amplified setup.
If it is a component setup that will impact replacment choices. KM
PS: Wasting some time looking around, Swapping out Sony Door Speakers?

Must have been a rookie rep. At 90db sensitivity rating and 4 ohms impedance and required power of 6-60 watts, those Rockford Fosgate speakers are clearly made for high power from an outboard amp, not the low power from a standalone headunit or most oem vehicle amps, including Sony, B&O, Bose, etc.
