Hello All: Ordered a 2011 F150 FX4. Did not upgrade the tires on the order
as I will be trading them in at my local Tire shop for Goodyear Silent Armour.
The size of the tire coming with the truck is P275/65Rx18. The truck will be white and not a lot of chrome so was thinking of trading in the wheels also for a black wheel. Your thoughts and any suggestions on type of rims. I live in Canada and we get a fair bit of snow...these tires and rims will be on the truck
all year. I do a fair bit of back road driving as well as highway. Comments well received.....tks.

 

Go back and upgrade to the 18" LT tires and your truck will come with these. I had 67,000 km on my last truck with lots of tread left when my lease ended and I drive off road lots. It will be significantly cheaper than going through a tire shop.

 

2Alpha, thanks for the photo! I have the upgraded LT's on my order and haven't been able to see exactly what they will look like!

The white FX4 is pretty close to what my new truck will look like...only mine
will have a 6.5ft box to haul a slide in camper.
The tires look ok...still think I would like to have some partially black wheels.
Not quite sure....would be nice if someone had some pics of a white f150 with some black wheels that they could post here.......again thanks, I will get my sales mgr. to upgrade my tires to the G.Y. Silent Armour.

 

The truck is silver, I took the picture at the worst time of day for lighting and it washes out in the picture.
