Default Need help 2010 F150 4.6 ac delete

I need to get up and running. Ac seized, clutch spins but compressor stuck. Bought a smaller belt to try and bypass but this is not working. I need year specific information. I do not have money to do much, any suggestions?

Have you tried disconnecting connector so compressor/clutch can’t be turned on and running it with normal belt/routing?

Default The clutch works but compressor frozen

The ribbed pulley on the compressor does not budge. I can spin the clutch by hand. Will unplugging it release it? Willing to try anything

I don’t know for sure for this gen. I have an older f250 that the compressor failed, but clutch is fine. I was able to unplug and run as a temp solution.

Default Delete belt fix. Works for '10 4.6L, haven't tried 5.4L.

Go buy Gates belt #K060780. Remove the tensioner, 3 10MM bolts. Remove the Driver side SMOOTH idler pulley, 13MM bolt. Swap the driver side smooth pulley ONTO the tensioner, also 13MM bolt. Reinstall the tensioner. DO NOT install the driver side tensioner pulley yet. Install the belt, it'll be a close fit but there is a small amount of slack. After the belt is in and settled into the grooves install the idler pulley. It's a TIGHT fit, but not too tight. Make sure not to crossthread the bolt into the front cover. Tighten it all down, you're good to go. Routing is factory so everything is turning the way it was. The reason for swapping the pulleys is so that the tensioner gets a curve in the belt, otherwise it'll flap. You're welcome.
