Question Name that part

My thermostat housing on my 1994 L6 cracked so after taking it out and I can;t get the piece of pipe off of the damn thing.and there's no part number picture below. any help would be great

Looks like you're in for a salvage yard search.

Heat the boss with a torch, then rap it firmly with a hammer. That may loosen things up enough to get the tube assembly out of the goosneck boss.

If that doesn't do it, then take a hacksaw and cut the boss across the threads on the aluminum gooseneck almost, but not down through the threads. Cut both sides, then take a cold chisel and drive it down into the slots parallel to the axis of the boss. The casting should crack.

thank you for the tip I'm going to see if i can borrow my friends vice and if i can't knock it out with a mallet ill torch the sucker
