Hi forgive me for being stupid here but I am new to the site and I could use some help, I have acquired a 91 f150, 302 with 4x4, the tranny is shifting very hard and I have noticed it slipped in between gears, so I went to check the fluid level, to my amazement there is no dipstick? The access tube for the dipstick appears to piped straight into the oil cooler, so my question is how do I check fluid level? Thanks for any and all response

Found it! It does it come anywhere near to the top of the engine compartment it was buried under the insulation from the ac unit.
Give me something with wings on it any day.
