Am I missing something with MyKey? I have a '15 F150. Lost 1 key and of course it was the Admin key. Bought another key. My garage has IDS and PATS permission. We initially programmed the new key, but it appears it programmed it as another MyKey. Using either key does not allow us to view the MyKey menu and both limit the speed to 80mph. We then erased all keys and the programmed the two keys again. The MyKey menu still does not show and max speed is still 80mph. Any advise how to make an Admin key since we have the tools and security credentials?

 

You could wipe and reprogram the module that controls mykey with the asbuilt data. Would be just like replacing the module itself. Not entirely certain which module controls that function. Possibly the BCM as it controls most electronic functions of the vehicle.

You input your vin# there and download all asbuilt data then use IDS to reprogram each module to bring the truck back to the programming it had the day it rolled off the line with. Then program all keys.

As I said I'm not certain which module (likely BCM) but you can do all of them if need be until you hit pay dirt so to speak..
