I was there when they started buying up dealerships and screwing everyone that worked in them back in the 90's Luckily the owner of my dealer was independently wealthy and told them to pound sand when they came knocking.

I worked at that autonation the op posted. Like the exact one lol. Only 1 1/2 years. Started looking for a job my 3rd day lol

You know what I'm talking about then. worried me so much so that I tried to organize everyone in the shop to get on board with the UAW. Apparently I was the only one with enough ***** to meet with them. Long story short the owner must have caught wind of what was going on and declined to sell. Whewwwwwww.

I dropped the union organizing idea and kept wrenching merrily along until I left for greener pastures.
