Chose the weathertechs in the end too, not crazy about their appearance, but the price and no-drill fitment along with them lining up very well (saw some Husky's that didn't conform the bodywork) meant they were the best bet.
I'm also running the Husky liners.

Weathertechs. Went down a muddy road today. Note, no mud on the truck. They work.

which ones did you get and pics if you have them?
thanks

I installed the Ford mudguards and also the Husky rear liners on my black ‘20 XLT. I think they look good given that the truck is all black and everything blends together. Before I installed the mud guards, I put some clear bra film along the fender to protect the paint where the guards overlap. Im sure that over time dirt would work it’s way in and wreck the paint. I considered Weathertech until I found out that they don’t make front guards that fit on current F150’s that have the side steps that run all they way to the front wheel well. You may want to check if you were considering those. Please forgive the dirt in pics; it’s been raining the last few days and I haven’t had a chance to wash it yet.

Trust me, it’s filthy. Use Mequiars Hybrid Ceramic wax; you won’t regret it.

Look at the tailgate

The passenger side you're likely looking at is a dark color in shadow.

I drove a black F150 for 19 years. It's always dirty. I trust him.

Yup I had two black vehicles previously. Always dirty and boy do they show swirl marks easily. When you get them looking good, under lights at night, at dusk, etc, they look good but that's few and far between unless it's a garage princess that gets driven once a week

I am surprised no manufacturer has made a rear mud guard that comes up to the wheel well liner.
the opening above the mud guard looks like crap.

With weathertech at least, I don't think you ever actually see that gap unless you are crouching down taking pictures of that exact spot for a thread like this. Heck even in the pic I posted above you don't really see it
