Default How would you plug this hole?

Hello, this tank will fit my old truck but it has a vent hole at the top that I don’t need. What would be the best way to plug this ?

Thanks

Install the correct factory or direct-replacement rollover valve & grommet; and connect that to the correct charcoal canister, and to the engine the way it should be.

You need to be honest and tell these folx your working with a 1970 Econoline van, not a truck. You'll get much more accurate replies. However in this case @Ctracingraptor has the best answer thus far.

It’s just a universal auto repair question. I’m not even sure how it’s relevant to any certain type of vehicle. I was hoping to get some input from some people more knowledgeable than me. And I have. All is well. Thank you all

Input about WHAT? You didn't ask for input - you asked what WE would do.
