I have a 1997 ford f150 v6 4.2l and I’m trying to figure out what the mini fuse panel relays are used for because when I search up a diagram it’s says there is just 2 fuses but in mine there a bunch of relays was wondering if anyone had a diagram on what they did?
Yikes. That’s a lot of work ahead of you. Based on other cars I’ve seen/worked on (not a mini) those terminals come out individually and that blue rod is likely just a holder. Look at the panel from the front and gently move the wire from the back, you may see a small release inside of there. On an older truck I did we used a TINY screwdriver to push the locking pin from the front and pulled the wire from behind.
I ran into this about 15-20 years ago when I had a '97.
The extra relay box is the add-on for the factory towing adapter package. It is completely undocumented in the owner's manuals. Here's a photo of mine that was annotated back in the day. FWIW, the 1998 is the same. I don't recall if I ever identified the one I originally marked as "UNKNOWN". I sold that truck back in 2011.
